I think this kind of technology just needs a lot more work and thought to it.
With all the slate devices coming out, it just doesn't seen logical to put a touch screen on notebook, or a netbook.
I think that touch screen phones were am amazing idea, but it almost looks like people are just abusing the touch screen feature. They're basically putting it on everything they can. Even things that don't really need it.

When using a PC you have your hand on the mouse most of the time anyway. Please, for the love of all things plastic, stop using gloss black on display bezels! This includes cell phones, televisions, monitors, laptops, netbooks, GPS units, and pretty much anything else I have to look at where I'd rather not have an annoying background reflection.
