Excellent news. One of the reasons I wasn't put off an Olympus E-620 was the fact that it had a CF slot so I knew I would be able to use SD via an adaptor if I so chose.

Yes, all the new Pens use SD. It's good to see the general swing towards SD. They should put a nice f/2 or f/1.8 lens on it. The biggest weakness of 4:3 cameras (even Olympus' pro-oriented bodies) is that they have significantly more noise than the competition. They need fast lenses with such tiny bodies to make them really sing.

Leica makes a nice f/1.4 4:3 lens. The sensors are way bigger than the tiny tiny sensors in point and shoots and they would be way more portable than a DSLR if they all came with a prime lens like the GF1 does. With the overall space that my DSLR and the kit lens takes up I wish I would have gotten a this or a GF1 because I find myself reluctant to take the beast anywhere with me, resulting in way fewer shots than I used to take with my PnS.]]>Feb 24th 2010 3:30PM
