LG make decent hardware, but I'll buy HTC, Samsung - anything that launches first. If there are a few handsets out at the same time I'll probably just get the cheapest, but I'm going into early adoption mode for this baby.<br><br>Given MS's tight minimum specs, I'm feeling a lot more confident about being an early adopter. The BEST thing about WP7 to me is that it will be on MULTIPLE NETWORKS. Goodbye to my crappy, call-dropping iPhone and crappy, bad-service AT&T. I'm leaning towards Sprint for their excellent plans and the fact that it roams on Verizon from what I've heard. That's where Android has an edge with motorola and Google  creating exclusive phones. The Nexus One was built by HTC, but doubt there'll be a windows version since google owns the design. While the HD2 will get an Android version. <br><br>Hard to see win 7 do well. The only hope is xbox live. Zune is pretty much a certifiably failed format and no one cares about that ecosystem. Xbox live on the other hand is great.<br><br>I believe the new win 7 UI will work with the xbox user community. It'll be too exotic for the regular folk. It needs a user to think like win phone 7. Not the usual find, click and launch approach. So at least we know that's a loser. Microsoft was claiming win 6.5 browser was superior to iPhone. We know that isn't true . I say this as someone who believed the hype and got a tilt2. It was one of the worst decisions...msft is yet to prove they can create a good mobile ui. Win 7 works because it refines vista which borrows it's core usability theme from Mac. Android works because it adds good stuff to the proven iPhone ui. Msft surface is strugling because the ui sucks! I saw a demo a few weeks ago. It was totally non intuitive. While it may not have the adoption of iTunes, everyone I know who has gone Zune has been very happy and hasn't looked back. Hell I know people who still use a Zune 30 and are quite happy with them. If Microsoft would actually advertise Zune and get it into the public eye more, I think we'd see a noticeable amount of people switch.
