Today the average LEO seems rather jumpy, so I'd rather not have any kids running around with one of these in their hands.Remember these are the same class of cops that can outnumber a skinny college kid five to one and still somehow need a taser. So yeah bright colors would seem prudent.
That being said, people do need to teach their children firearm safety.
