That's a pretty nifty idea. I think Palm should try to contract out their hardware development to HTC. Then they can focus solely on software/webOS. They can still have the tight software & hardware integration that they do now, but just have HTC develop the hardware.

I'm getting worried that Palm is too small and has too small of resources to develop both cutting edge hardware and software.
