It is mac after all. I mean with their high credibility running abit low lately, they are just about due for something that knocks the socks out of consumers.. a release date pushed back a few years would do it. not tomention it would ruin their credibility to the masses. It's cores are running at 56C/57C right now. Now the mini will be just another overpriced option with things you don't really need. Their goal is to get people to buy an AppleTV for the purpose of watching TV.  An apple Mini for computing, an iPod for music and a Mac laptop for portability.  <br><br>They want people to think they are all distinct products and not general purpose. The bottom offerings are crap, but the top offering has a ultra low power AMD chip a little more powerful than a dual-core Atom and just as cool running and power sipping. Monoprice sells a cheap cable that is DisplayPort on one end and HDMI on the other so my new Mac Mini hooked right into a an HDMI monitor. Because I'm hooking into a monitor, not a TV (and I don't need sound) I'm not even worried about whether it is HDMI or DisplayPort. So the reason this matters is so you can hook your Mac Mini into a TV (and still get audio), right?
