@andysexton
Sense UI + Hubs!!!
This was the best engadget show ever!
@untitled Your telling me I won a ZUNE HD!
@The Geek Agreed! Major improvement on the interviewing skills from Josh. Way to go!
@untitled
JOSH,
I must say and this is only constructive criticism folks. I think you over talk your guests alot and half the time your jokes aren't the slightest bit funny. Actually they were a bit cringe worthy toward the beginning there. The show is really nicely done though and I appreciate the professional atmosphere and production values. But it would be nice if your demeaner matched the suit you had on. Keep it professional and this show is a winner. Just my 2 cents.
@untitled
Definitely! Avner Ronen is such a cool dude, best guest so far. Joshua and Nilay were on top of their game.
That being said I don't get Dell. I actually like the Mini5, but really, Dell, c'mon, you already had a winning formula: just take the Axim x51v, shove a freaken cellular antenna into it and you'll be selling millions!
@untitled I would be more proud of Joshua if he did the Vulcan solute when he came out.
Couldn't go due to a 3 day power outage from the snow :(
@shu Don't worry! just make it to the next one!
@Kevin Wong Would have liked to check out WinPhone7 and the Dell Mini5, in addition to doing SmrtCase promotions :)
fantastic episode...
You guys should do a behind-the-scenes video where you show us how all the editing etc. is done...
In fact, a general behind-the-scenes look at engadget would be great, like at CES.
thank you !
Where is the HD??????
@Nightryder21 It's there with the (HD) beside it. Been there since when I had my post about wanting an RSS feed for it so that I can automate it into my Media Center.
Thanks been waiting 2 days for you to add the download link
I want the dell mini badly. When is it coming out?
Hopfully soon I can't wait for this
Make it about 300 and i'm sold
@look a cow
youre kidding right? 300? 3.5in android phones are 500-600 dollars unlocked but you want a giant 5 inch phone, decked out with features and fast cpu, for HALF the price?
it aint gonna happen.
Friggin FINALLY! I've been waiting for the downloadable video all weekend long!
Avner: "Users are not going to dump cable... TV is not broken."
Whereas, I with Avner agree that it may be too expensive. I highly disagree with that statement that TV isn't broken. In fact, it may be broken *because* it's so expensive. After all, the thought that a consumer should be charged for, say, Bravo if they only want FX is a model that's pretty broken and unfair to customers.
If someone provides an easy way for customers to get the 4-5 channels they watch most for half the price of a Comcast subscription, then I'd guess they would cancel their cable pretty quickly - and rightfully so!
Side note: I find it funny that the networks created a TV-to-Web delay for their shows in hopes of not removing the incentives to subscribe to cable; yet what they did instead was create a large group of consumers who actually don't mind the TV-to-Web delay (aside from sports, that is)
It never fails to amaze me how well made this show is and how good a host Joshua is. Great work.
Best damn show on Television!
I wish they'd just release this as a bittorrent file -I'd seed the shit out of that thing. Instead I guess I'll wait the quoted two hours and get multiple failures.
@RedSeven word!
So What's this MIX all about?
Hey all ye geeks at Engadget, just watched the 6th show, gr8 work. Tried finding the other/previous shows and man its tough or wot. It'll be easier to spot Steve Jobs in WHITE turtlenecks,his hands around Bill gates's shoulder with a latest windows phone seven proto discussing how to fix that sync issue than it is to find one link/page/tab whre one can download all the previous shows in one quick go without having to hit a billion RELATED links. Why dont all you geeks put your THINKING ELECTRODE DEVICES on and figure out an easier way for people to access your previous shows. It applies to all other MATERIAL which is regular/sequential in nature.
@jediamit
hers a link for all 6

brilliant show. love the dell mini i like it but its a big on the bigger side so i am going to give it the benefit of the doubt and wait and see when it comes out.
I just wanna say one more thing Dell look into putting" windows 7 mobile phone seriese phone mobile windows 7" on it. i think that will sell.
the big screen deserves a fresh start and what better than a new windows start.
can you pls pls pls put up just and audio download/podcast
what is the watch that josh is wearing? looks awesome. and a cool segment might be what the editors of engadgets "edc"(every day carry) is.
@groad
Surprisingly, it's been done already.
See: http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/07/unbagging-joshua-topolsky/
Loved the show, but something about Woodman I don't like.
Man this is going to take ages to buffer for me cause Virgin Media's broadband is super slow for me since friday. They said that I would get refunded £10 at least. I can't even download anything without the connection being lost.
whos the dude with the 56k noises at the end
if you keep seeing hair in the front row, thats me i am really short, but I have a fro....lol
@Josh, You should do a sit down with Aaron Woodman after mix to clear up the stuff he couldn't answer in the show. It doesn't need to be another full show, just a short interview or something. I think that would be great!
I was there and I almost won the Zune HD!
This is the best video of an Engadget Show yet. I'm glad you decided to add the final music/visual piece into the downloadable video, they had been cut from previous episodes. The interviews w/ Glomag, Paris and Outpt were excellent. I do have a suggestion though: put more of the visuals in the video. It almost seems like you are afraid to leave it on screen for more than 3 seconds.
great show.
im gonna be buying that dell mini 5 the millisecond it becomes available. im in love. and itll only be nicer with updated android os and everything more polished.
Very Good Show. I only want info on, 1st-" HD2 w/W7" & (um) (the Dell Mini 5, don't tell anybody I said that).
Thanks Engadget: http://i.imgur.com/nw4H1.png
that's the fastest download speed i've had in a while! Great show too.
Avner and Boxee,
Thank you for recognizing a growing generation of people who value content from the internet and watch less and less traditional T.V.
Great job guys. I love this show. Keep up the good work. You have managed to get very interesting guests on the show and cover very recent news/announcements.
Just a suggestion, I would watch the interruptions when you are interviewing guests. I noticed a few times in the interview with MS that Aaron wanted to say something but was cut-off. This is something I've noticed in all your previous shows. Just a bit of constructive criticism. As much as I enjoy some of the humour your staff brings to the show, I could care less about what they think and want to spend more time hearing what your guest has to say.
Otherwise awesome show! Love it!
So Josh admitted to getting a check from Apple hmmm...
Anybody else notice how much Aaron Woodman's hand gestures and the way he talks are very similar to Bill Gates?
What's with the audio. The first 30 minutes you guys sound like boop-boop robots underwater. That shit is annoying.
Anyone think Aaron Woodman from Microsoft looks/reminds them of Alex Albrecht from Diggnation?
Excellent show. I agree with above posts that this was the best show yet. Keep it up. It was good to see the audience so energetic and I think you guys did a better job at sticking to the topics...well except for the beard comments, but that's OK, beards are cool, especially in Canada! :-D
Great show!!!! and I want a mini5
