The hacking community is cool and all, but it seems like a massive waste of time in my opinion. It just isn't an option for anyone that relies on their phone. If you're someone in high school with 2 or 3 friends, then by all means butcher it up. The rest of us need our stuff to work all the time.

For me (and I'm sure many others), my phone is the absolute last place I want bugs, stuttering, or hacked on OS skins. Of all my gadgets, my phone is the most important and as such I consider reliability and speed to be paramount.

That said, I've been an iPhone user for 3 years now and still absolutely love it. While some people consider the OS stale, the format provides more functionality per screen than anything else. Holding the phone in one hand gives your thumb access to 20 completely different applications as soon as it's unlocked. The above skin doesn't even come close.

ebgolfin

Comments on Windows Phone 7 Series themes for WinMo abound in dev forums

@Bakerdk

swing and a miss...

gavin11489

Comments on Windows Phone 7 Series themes for WinMo abound in dev forums

@Bakerdk Yea I agree. The iPhone has the smoothest running OS of all phones. It just works. You can call the OS stale or whatever you want but it does what it's suppose to do. The phone gives ya plenty of options too if you get into the hacking and jailbreaking of it. I just look at all the other phones that keep being released and I just don't care. The only phone I'm looking forward to is the next iPhone. My experieance has been nothing but positive with this phone so I'm gonna stick with it.

Mtmrob

Comments on Windows Phone 7 Series themes for WinMo abound in dev forums

@ebgolfin
I dont want to pick side for the Win7 OS because I dont like it, but why do you want to be able to run 20 apps by just one click?
