Agreed.

3D is cool once in awhile but definitely not necessary more often than once in a blue moon.

I recently purchased a 3d lcd and frankly it is a bargain. Between a 3d screen and a non-3d screen the difference in price is just a few bucks.

For example :a lcd 22" fullhd with 3d feature cost about $300 (tax + importation included), while a conventional lcd 19" non-full hd is about $230.

The real trouble is in the "3d shaders", nivida true vision can cost about $250.
