Regular single point touch pads can't scroll very long pages without lifting fingers. You can just keep scrolling on Toughbook by circling around the circular edges without lifting your fingers. This is more of a business rugged Toughbook rather than hardcore Toughbook that can withstand trucks running over. The business rugged toughbooks are called Let's Note series in Japan and are the best selling business laptops there. Before their thin and light series only offered resistive touch and it wasn't convertible. This will be great for all those wanting multi-touch and active digitizer as well as buying something that is built to last a few years...not just a few months. To scroll on this device, you have to move your finger in a circular motion (like on an ipod), and you can only scroll in one direction. It's difficult because if you deviate from the edge of the circle, you stop scrolling. I used a 10 inch Toughbook (can't remember the model number) for a few months at an internship about 4 years back; it would only scroll left-right when there was a horizontal scrollbar but no vertical one.
