I love how much attention is being paid to the peppers and whether they're being diced or sliced (although there appears to be an odd combination of both).

Anywho, is RIGHT NEXT TO THE SINK the best place to put an internet tablet or any other electronic device, for that matter. It'll be fine. All perfectly edible actually. The bell pepper is just a particularly not-hot member of the capsicum family where seeds are often left or removed to control heat.
