Come one, on Tegra you could put a full-blown operating system, like some Linux distro for example. This is a CARPC replacement. In this space, Windows CE trumps Android and IPhone. I am big IPhone fan but have used CE for over 15 years. CE has more Navigation apps period. They have off-road apps, they have more maps. Go to Honduras or Brazil and see if your Android or iPhone has maps. It also has more Car related apps such as ODB-2 car diagnostic readers. It is running Opera as the browser. You can run core-player that supports every known codec EXCEPT ONVP6 .FLV (porn site FLVs). Which is much more mature than both CE and Android.

Again, this is a CARPC replacement. I bet this is meant to be sold in all over the world. People in Russia, Hungary, Greece, Indonesia will pick this before a Android or iPhone just because there are native apps for "ALL regions" I wouldn't be surprise if you can hook up telestial tv since all the Chinese & Eastern European knock-off PNDs do.

Get it?

cuy

Comments on Mio's Tegra-powered Moov V780 puts maps, 720p video, and the interwebs on dashboards

@HDD

yeah I agree MOSTLY... they lost me at no bluetooth????
WTF? for what they're selling this for it should freakn have bluetooth and a way to connect your cellphone to it or bluetooth speakers etc... i mean seriously, what are they thinking??? 700 euros is like $945 US. how much does it cost to add bluetooth you do the math...

GadgetGeek

Comments on Mio's Tegra-powered Moov V780 puts maps, 720p video, and the interwebs on dashboards

Wonder if it can hold Ubuntu or BackTrack?

Bryan

Comments on Mio's Tegra-powered Moov V780 puts maps, 720p video, and the interwebs on dashboards

Windows CE, seriously?
