In that respect cameras are better than the human eye, which is why old CRT monitors appear to 'roll' in videos of them, the human eye can't process the change in image fast enough to see it. PC gaming are for the enthusiasts and undeniably light years ahead of the console. Picture this, the PS3's graphic chip is equivalent to the GeForce 76/7800 series while in this generation we're talking about 500 something cores for the GTX-470/480. It's at least 3 generations ahead. I think PC gaming software isn't catching up with the hardware race as I don't quite see it utilizing all it's juice for a particular title.
