It's just a bit scaring, the (at the moment) single desktop is the room where all desktops in the classroom are showed, and the teacher selects it and shows it on the big part, and if the teacher wants to every pupil gets showed his actual desktop/presentation/whatever on their desktops..... Teachers will love them, and they're a very good solution because many pupils prefer to surf on the internet instead of looking at his homeworks and the teacher can control everything directly, but I (as a pupil ;)) don't like it very much as you can imagine :D
BUT: They're talking about this in classrooms, but with a price about 9000€ it's nearly impossible for any german school to afford this. I'm from Germany, and we've got a beamer in every class (about 400€) and in some rooms smartboards. They're expensive, but nothing compared to that. And the size of 65/82" is gigantic, but a beamer does it on an area of 3 by 2 metres (118 by 78 inches). I would really look forward to something like this, but it's not possible to use it in a german school, and I don't think the american schools have more money...

Niklasnick

Comments on Samsung's 82-inch multitouch E-board demonstrated (video)

The question is, does it run android becuz it seems that everything else does?

lv2bll54

Comments on Samsung's 82-inch multitouch E-board demonstrated (video)

The catholic school in my area has a something like this, except it's a projector.
