I do. I enjoy it at the cinema, I see not why I wouldn't at home. Especially with 3D SkySports round the corner for football matches and the PS3's 3D upgrade for gaming and Blu-Rays. Because it's Panasonic Plasma, a lot of people shy away from them. For the main reason is people don't want Plasma, they want "El See Dee". Doesn't matter why, they just do. I completely agree, but that isn't even what i would consider "Street Prices"
And if I'm understanding this correctly, that is $6,999 USD, and I'm well aware that the exchange rate is such that there isn't a huge difference but taking into account today's exchange rate you are looking at $ 7,171.32 CAD. If any sales person were able to get 5,500 for that panel he'd be laughing as it would make his days sale, based on relative markup.

That's why I seem to believe these are grossly exaggerated MSRP's and I'd take them with a very large grain of salt.

Do people really pay this much for LCDs when you can get a brand new Panasonic Plasma for so much less?
