It's got mid-end specs. Live with it and quit whining.

Even though the old processor is still performs way better than the HTC Hero, it just runs much more smooth. Browsing is also a lot more convenient on the Legend compared to the Hero. So for a mid-range price, you get an awesome phone. What's wrong with that?

It seems people are being harsh on this device just because it hasn't been announced for the US and they have no interest in it. I seriously wonder why. Battery life is by no means worse than on any other smartphone (despite what Engadget says), the screens display quality is amazing, the build quality is unique (aluminum unibody), the camera now has a LED flash (compared to the Hero), and it runs on Éclair 2.1. It's an infinite times better than devices like the Motorola Cliq/Dext/Backflip/Devour/whatever.

Merkie

Comments on

@Merkie People are just disappointed the only snapdragon android phone available is the N1.

Prince Ali

Comments on

@PrinceAli, that one more Snapdragon device than the rest of the world.

Merkie

Comments on

See what happens you guys review people see how shity a phone it is the company sees that everyone sees how shity a phone it is they start shiping before anybody figures it out how shity it is by the time they do it's to late and they will be feeding us another shity phone to keep us quit

Post31

Comments on

Does every phone that gets released have to be absolute top line, home run material? But, it's got a decent RAM bump, an AMOLED screen, ships with the new Android 2.1, uses a standard micro-usb port, is fairly durable for a smartphone, and has a very nice, light, and slim physical design.

This isn't the perfect handset, but close enough. I would buy this in a heart beat if it or something similar comes to Sprint. IMHO, I dislike the trending back to larger phones. For years and years the goal was to make them smaller. I'd love to pick up a good (small) android handset like this for ATT.

I understand the benefits of having larger screen real estate, but I never utilize my phone for more than email, calendars, and rudimentary web stuff.

I just figured I'd post saying that there ARE people out there that value a smaller handset, even if it means a lower res screen.
