You could argue that many self made BILLIONaires are probably a little arrogant since they had to be pretty smart and knowledgeable to get to where they are from nothing- like say building a computer company out of a garage. I'm going to have to say that your "hate" for him is totally unfounded. Steve makes computers. That's it- he doesn't pass laws upon you that steal your God given right, force healthcare issues upon you and your neighbors that you don't want, or put you into debt by spending trillions of dollars you don't have. HE MAKES COMPUTERS- for HIS company no less. If you don't agree with his opinion when it comes to computers- DON'T BUY THEM.

As for Adobe- flash has always been a menace on a Mac. You think Apple should give Adobe MORE ACCESS and allow them lower level hardware ability? No thank you. So this is merely a lame and technically wrong excuse from Adobe to deliver sub-par Flash performance on the Mac. Which isn't a surprise, considering that Photoshop CS4 is still based on old MacOS9 code and badly ported to OSX (btw that's also the reason why it is still 32bit-only on the Mac; only modern Cocoa applications are capable of 64bit). Frankly, Adobe is simply a very lazy and awful Mac developer.

On a sidenote, I read somewhere that Flash 10.1 will indeed feature GPU acceleration on the Mac, making those previous Adobe statements about Apple bullying them even more ridiculous.
