And don't get me started on the lack of a front camera for Skype video calling, and a daylight viewable screen for e-reading.

Look what HTC done to Magic, even company big like HTC still just drop you a piece of junk and leave you no support.

HTC Magic release about only 1 year ago only, and yet there is no update support, they are still in stupid android 1.5 with broken Youtube App.

Can you image they are trying to sell PC running on win95 but don't tell you when will you be able update to windows 7 ? There are two versions of the Magic 32A and 32B. I put my serial number in there and it says my 32B can't download it. My Magic is Vodafone branded and it won't work. The previous poster is mistaken in placing the blame on HTC if he has a branded phone. The carrier held it up. I don't have enough experience with it to know if this is truly the case but people really need to elaborate.

Is Android upgradeable no matter what device or are you stuck with the OS you get? And I don't mean hack job upgradeable, but just going online and hitting update.

Is 1.6 the sweet spot for things that aren't smartphones and 2.x just includes better functioning GPS and all that stuff?
