S^3 is still not nearly completed, still have a fair bit more work to be done before devices are shipped.

Thin doesn't necessarily mean best.

I have a 5800XM and I just love how it feels on the hand (ok, there's the "That's what she said" joke coming). It feels natural. And holding it horizontally (to take pictures) is also easy and comfortable. I have an iPod Touch, so I can compare. I much prefer holding the 5800XM.

The iPod Touch/iPhone is thin, but so what? It's still a bit too big to fit nicely in your jeans pocket. Thin sucks. "Thin" is synonymous with "flimsy, consumer-grade crap that's going to snap in two under a slight breeze". Agreed. If this packs 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and comes in around $269 in price, I think they could have something good on their hands.
