A side effect that nobody speaks about though is that with a Cintiq you will be looking down on your hands a lot, putting more stress on your shoulders than when looking forward on a computer screen. I loved the first concept videos of it, but the new ones make the device look not so good. Plus its only a concept video and no working prototype has been spotted yet so as far as intuitiveness goes ???. Plus, I've used a pogo sketch pen and Sketchbook/Brushes on my iPhone and had a pretty good designing experience, which is why I preordered an iPad.

I am aware of the superiority of wacom tablets above resistive panels...
