The sides come down over the edge of the board so slipping off seems unlikely unless the plastic is so thin it would break. Same for the wells the bars fit in. Engadget actually try one of these? As far as wat's wrong with regular pushups? Broke my hand in a motorcycle accident and can't put my hand flat anymore. By the looks of it, it wraps around the entire board fittingly. This makes the area between your too arms even shorter I'll pass. Wii Fit push ups wreck my wrists pretty bad and this accessory looks pretty decent.
