Why is it bad? I like the HD2 interface more than the windows phone 7 'tiled' interface. There are still a TON of reasons to get the HD2. Android.

For now I am very happy with 6.5 on my HD2 and it looks like the upgrade path for people who actually LIKE WM6 but want something more up to date is to go for Android.

That's a pretty grand rumor. A 4.5" screen upgrade over the already enormous 4.3" display? An HD resolution that leaps far beyond the WVGA industry leader? The next generation 1.5GHz Snapdragon chips that wont be out for a very long time? An insane 1GB of RAM when most of the industry is still between 256MB and 512MB? And to top it all of 32GB of internal storage?

Doubtful. WP7S isn't CE 5 based like the past 3+ versions of WM have been, so it's not going to be nearly as easy as it has been in the past. It may require a different bootloader, and it most certainly will require new drivers. Not to mention that Microsoft has let XDA do its thing... but they will certainly sent a cease and desist letter, causing XDA to remove all WPS7 Roms.

XDA has always respected MS's desires, even though the last couple letters were faked.
