Exactly. And why? More carriers. EVERY carrier. Apple should get the hint and offer their phone on more carriers.

The old argument was: "Apple would have to make a CDMA phone to work on Verizon... but the rest of the world uses GSM... so why bother..."

Well, lookie there... HTC just did it. This month, there will be a CDMA Nexus One on Verizon... and a GSM Nexus One on T-Mobile. Looks like they know how to play the game.

Your move, Apple. Quit fucking around with AT&T and do what EVERY other manufacturer does... sell your product in every possible place.

Huh??? I haven't had to go to a store to transfer contacts for years now. Sign up for MyVerizon and you can do it there. They also have this handy little application called BackupAssistant to transfer contacts between phones...
