But its not the people I hate, but the government.   The people are really cool, and its nice to know that civilization started with more than just Rome. Funny we don't here any complaints about the websites google US blocks on behest of the US government. <br><br>2. Google ran a foul of a lot of copyright infringements with Chinese authors, censorship  was never a problem for google in china before they were about to get fined for copying intellectual property. <br><br>3. Who is to judge the limits of free speech? The US? The UN? Why not the host country of a company - google wants to operate on China, has to follow there laws - no complaints from microsoft, apple, Dell etc...<br><br>4. 80% of Chinese population satisfied with there government & it's policies - US could only wish for those kind of numbers<br><br>5. China soon to be the only superpower with out firing a shot. While I'm not a fan of communism at all, I don't see why Americans (I'm one myself) or American companies have to force the rest of the world to play by their rules! The old addage 'when in Rome, do as Romans do' goes for everyone but Americans. We always tell immigrants who come to the US to 'play by our rules' but when we go to foreign countries, we're too good to play by their rules. You're kiddin me right?<br><br>3. I agree for the most part. Free speech is different even in other democracies, like the UK. That said, I can call the President of the US and Prime Minister of the UK dumbasses, and not worry an bit. So yeah, I'm guessing that our free speech laws are right and China's are wrong.<br><br>4. A good rule of thumb is that any poll taken in a country where your beliefs can get you arrested should be taken with a grain of salt. Am I saying that the poll was wrong? Android is doing reasonably well so far but the smartphone market is still in its infancy, at least a far as mass uptake is concerned.
