Well, any film or tv programme relies on what the cameraman decides to put into focus, irrespective of wether you're looking at something else on the screen.

even tho' the actual image of both fore- and background objects are at the same distance from you, your eyes will "zoom in" on the background object as if it was actually further away
it's kinda like when looking at a mirror, where your eyes are zooming in twice as far as the mirror is, because the image is behind it

Dude you just stated exactly what I've been trying to tell people! 3D movies is f'n stoopid. They only images that can be put up are those that are artificially made with no perspective blur. Therefore, the only movies worth watching in 3D are animated movies. Think about how this perspective issue will affect viewing a movie made for 3D on a traditional 2D display. I'm waiting for the PS3 to get that rumoured 3D firmware update before upgrading tv sets to 3D. Wearing 3D glasses is a non-issue as you quickly forget it's there.
