Last specs I saw didn't suggest that memory cards were supported. Hopefully you could pop off the back and put in a different drive (as jon suggested) ... but that ups the cost another $100 or so.<br><br>The other big issue for me is TV out. If it can handle 1080p you should slap an HDMI port on it. Can't cost that much extra.<br><br>All in all I don't see this succeeding. With more convertible netbooks being released and Ion 2 in the works there are just better options. Especially considering that you get a real OS on those netbooks. I don't see the JooJoo succeeding either.  I mean... it's already had its fair share of problems since the beginning... the CrunchPad debacle, the pre-order PayPal mess... I really don't see this thing showing up on trucks at Best Buy or Wal-Mart.<br><br>They need to sell 60,000 of them to even get close to the $3,000,000 they've spent on the JooJoo already.  <br><br>And sorry to bring up that other tablet... but I don't think Fusion Garage has the advertising budget that Apple has. Apple has already sold 200,000 iPads... and the thing isn't even out yet. I can't imagine the JooJoo sitting on a shelf next to an iPad at Best Buy.<br><br>Oh I think the JooJoo will be released, and they'll sell a couple thousand of them. I don't see any of these slate devices making it big unless they can easily provide large amounts of tablet-oriented content (and experience) to the end user. And that requires an actual ecosystem already in place, and thus far only Apple has that one figured out.<br><br>Companies are putting these interesting machines, specs wise, but they expect the user to do all the building of the ecosystem for them. You can videocall, videochat, keep a vlog,... . With one on the back you could also do augmented reality. The idea that a camera is only used for taking pictures is so old-fashioned (yes, even on phones). <br><br>Multitouch capabilities of windows (7) are debatable: Most of the times it looks like they used some dirty hacks to get it working. It's still Linux underneath, and has Linux's capabilities. <br>Try adding OS X functionality to iPOS. It's not going to happen.<br><br>As for the battery life, for all you know this thing is so poorly coded that battery life would improve under windows. <br><br>"IPS screen is better than many things out there, and people would appreciate it on a media device (photos, movies etc.)"<br><br>The same people who buy a $3500 LCD instead of a $2500 Plasma, sorry to break it to you, but picture quality isn't a decision modifier for most consumers.<br><br>I think most of Google's services have an offline mode. <br><br>I don't get that, why would you install Android on an Atom device?<br>Atom's only benefit is the ability to run x86 code. If you want Android, buy one of the ARM tablets, they'll be more powerful and have better battery life.<br><br>The Slate is absolutely more useful, but I don't want a 7" screen, 11.6" is my ideal.  <br><br>As for the iPad, we'll have to agree to disagree, but as I've said, iPad people wouldn't buy this and JooJoo people wouldn't buy an iPad. <br><br>@pukerocket<br><br>I've been looking for a tablet for as long as they've been making them. <br>I pace while I work and holding a notebook in one hand and typing with the other is a pain. <br><br>I want an Arrandale ULV CPU; an 11-12" screen; an accurate, responsive touch panel(don't care what tech); a 1.8" or 2.5" drive(don't care what, I'll replace it with an Intel drive anyway); and 8-10 hours using wifi.
