The fact is very few devices have ever landed on US shores, and only a few have made their way via import.

All the US knows about Symbian they learned via the N75, 6650, E71x, and the Surge. No real Symbian power devices to judge. And these they have seen are crippled branded sets. But once we get less carrier customization and more high end subsidization, we can more fairly judge. Still it should have AMOLED screen, nHD and at least OMAP3. HDMI port, 12mpx camera(we should expect camera that's in a different level to HTC and what not and about same as SE, and Samsung if not better). Anyways when the troll have feed i'm kind of mixed this having AMOLED. I've been using Symbian S60 5th Ed. for a little over 2 months and quite like, warts and all. Prior to that I used a non-touch based version of Symbian S60 for around a year and still enjoyed it.

Symbian handles multitasking extremely well because it was built with that in mind. A properly specced and tuned Symbian mobile has no problem running 50+ apps.

Even though Symbian S60 5th Ed. isn't as slick as some of the newer Operating Systems, that were built from the scratch with touch input in mind (i.e Android, WebOS and iPhone OS), it's catching up to them very quickly now that the OS has been open sourced.
