Just get over it already, I don't necessarily love the idea of the iPad either, If you don't like it then you're not Apple's target with this product, its that simple! Just because a company made one good product, doesn't automatically make the next product they make good. iPad is not good, people will still buy it, it will sell lots, but it's a terrible device. Locked down, proprietary, basically can only get programs and content through Apple - terrible, terrible device.

I liken the iPad to a Wal-Mart Super Center. You're only pissed off because I pointed out a fact about the iPhone, iPod touch, and the iPad. Apple's iTunes/App store is like shopping at a Wal-Mart Super Center. It's true, Apple can be compared to Wal-Mart in this regard and you don't like that. For those who missed the comparison:

Thing is people will love, I've spoken to many friends and family, some who have no knowledge of Apple products or OS X who see this as an excellent casual browsing internet machine.

No doubt everyone on here will cry foul, say there part of the Apple School for the brainwashed and then look to pick holes.

PS If your running a Mac and fancy checking out html5 beta on youtube don't. A glitch causes speaker overload and modulation, setting the speakers to full. My imac now has 2 blown speakers and this week alone I've encountered another 11 machines all with the same issue. See I always hated flash but it never f$£ked my speakers up!

2nd that; it's actually a really intriguing form factor, but it doesn't seem mobile if I have to be tethered to a pc for it to work. No USB and SD card seems silly to me; I couldn't even plug in a flash drive to transfer files on the go.
