I'm trying to think of even the market in Japan that would/could use this, but even for a small kiosk/room type of situation, again why not use a 22" TV for the same price? You have to fit a human in the area anyways.

I then wondered where couldn't one use a 22" TV and my only thought is for a mobile type of application in a vehicle. Car, van, motor home etc. where space is limited, yet a steady supply of power is available.

DS 256 x 192 pixel screen resolution is nowhere near as good as 1366 x 768 pixel screen resolution.
DS graphics are nowhere near as good as PS3, plus PS3 has blueray drive and better media features,

This screen is not for everyone but good if you go on holiday, stay at a friends house, camping, or or just wont a space saving design

Yes, that's all true. But in the same way a laptop isn't as good as a desktop and Wifi isn't as good as being plugged in, these problems are solved by portable versions. Not taking the fixed version and lugging it around. Should look fine on your lap when you're on a road trip or something.
