And IIRC, the Dell Studio XPS all-in-ones were fairly well speced.

C2D uses more power and generates more heat. More power would be needed for the processor, as well as the fans needed to cool the system, which will probably also require a larger power supply. A larger power supply will need better ventilation and a larger case. The larger case will be less sexy.
