Not to mention the difference in screen and touch capability. The quality of the panel and the sensitivity of the capacitive multitouch are very important in this arena.

There can be requirements on a spec sheet (like Flash support!), but after that, one spec list vs another won't crown the winner. Sure you can use every application for windows. But they are all designed for mouse/keyboard interface. Which will make the user experience horrid. Not to mention windows 7 + custom touch gui = bye bye battery = terrible mobility..

I think all the browsers will have skins to go over the OS - so windows 7 would be nice for some functions and especially because it plays nicely with 90% of all pcs out there. Then the skins willmake the touch screen more usable with better navigation basically- Blumpit from firefox comes to mind. why not 2 or 3 OSs?
