Try to get support from them on an older version and they will ask to ( pay and ) upgrade.<br><br>The key here is 'reasonable amount of time'  I'm not sure it's reasonable to say that the iPhone 3g or iPod touch 2g can't multitask. <br> <br>My jailbroken iPod Touch 2g multitasks right now in fact.  I can already listen to Pandora while surfing the web, and I can also turn wifi and bluetooth on/off and disable screen rotation with just a simple swipe on the top bar.<br><br>Atleast they are supporting 3gs which is good. It's less than a year old, they HAVE to support that phone and the touch 3G.<br><br>Also, at&t sells the iPhone 3G right NOW, not just 2 years ago.  It's billed as the cheap way to get into an iPhone, and is often cited as one of the reasons why Palm's phones are overpriced, and for the downward price pressure on smart phones in general.  It's pretty lame that they are currently selling a product that can't take full advantage of an update that's right around the corner.<br><br>Remember, you can like Apple products without buying into everything Steve Jobs has to say. <br><br>They make great stuff, but Steve is often disingenuous in his public comments.
