Yeah but what's magical is that only some people struggle to make it input stuff which is a big step up really from most Apple input devices.

Anyone else find it ironic that the company that delivered the mouse unto the people has such a hard time making one that just works.

Exactly, Apple needs to stop making mice. If this is what you need to do to make a Magic Mouse usable, Apple failed miserably. As for the mouse, I'm a designer and I prefer mice without that big bulge you guys slapped on. I use my fingers to move the mouse around, not my wrist. I'm not an "apple hater" but I sure as hell hate their mouses (mice?). I personally don't think they've ever made a comfortable one. Most of them look great and futuristic for their time, but every one back to the hockey puck were crap for ergonomics, plain and simple. The Mighty Mouse was terrible. No contours at all, basically guaranteeing wrist strain.

I love Apple's design, I really do. I just wish the mouse designers would consider that people need to use them for extended amounts of time. Designers don't use mice, they use tablets. Just admit you're all about the style and you're willing to suffer Apple's lousy mouse and keyboard ergonomics for fashion.
