Why the IPS obsession around here? Why pay the same price for inferior technology?

And even if IPS is slightly more expensive, you're already dropping 350 bucks. Put out the extra 50-100 dollars and get an infinitely better monitor.

TN panels have poor color reproduction, and (more importantly IMO) poor viewing angles. If I'm watching movies, I can deal with the colors, but if I want to watch something with a friend, I'm screwed.
