Yes, but don't call something crappy because it doesn't fit your needs. I'd call an iphone or android phones crappy for lack of physical keyboard but I don't because I don't fit into that category.<br>These phones are great for the teens, pre-teens and adults who don't like smartphones and smartphone prices(along with their plans).<br>I agree on the other points though, these will be far cheaper than smartphones with far better cameras than most smartphones. If you were to survey any university to see what phones they have, the majority will be featurephones or freephones who lack most of the features the kin has. Tweens and teens who love texting/FB/Twitter probably love IMing their friends whenever they want, too. I personally don't use FB IM at all but I know plenty of people who do.
