I've sold now 6 mini's from HP and everyone has failed for a variety of reasons. 4 had a failing power circuit meaning it stopped charging and then wouldn't accept a power adapter either.<br><br>I've often thought the build quality of the HP was far superior to the others machines out there. We've had an HP laptop and netbook in the house, and with both of them, the build quality was lacking. HP is at the bottom on every one--desktops, laptops, printers...  and has been for a while now, so its not like they don't know about it. Carbon fiber body, 1.5 lb, and .55 in thick...the vaio x easily beats the HP mini. I have looked at this as well as the Lenovo Thinkpad X100e/Edge 13, which all have similar pricing of under $1K.
