GPS, Garmin's nuvi 3700 series clears the FCC
Been itching to get another look at Garmin's decidedly un-GPS-like nuvi 3700 series? Then say hello to your new best friend the FCC, which has now provided us with plenty of shots of the device both inside and out, along with the device's user manual and the usual slew of exciting test reports. Nothing much in the way of surprises, but the back of the device does look a tad less sleek than it did in Garmin's promo video, which might explain why all of the press shots show only the front or side of the device -- although it's certainly still a considerable step up from most other navigation units. Head on past the break for another shot of the device's familiar face, and hit up the source link below for the complete FCC goods.

Hmmm... How feels, you?
@n0ne
Is that a fan on a gps?!!! Definitely must be a hot item!

"Gamin?" Is that "Garmin" with a Boston accent?

or a sliding keyboard (N900)
I see a mic too.
Want.

@drksilenc
What one does when you play video games. I'm not quite sure how they brought it into this article, though...
The 3790T looks really slick.
a phone like this would look great.
iPhone 4G'ish or is it the other way around?
@Supraman
I would say it's the other way around.
Hmm... guys what happened to Nuviphones ? ASUS-Garmin hybrids
I thought it was a new Toshiba external HDD from the back, and an iPhone from the front. In conclusion, it looks really good.
But do people use GPSs anymore now that smart phones have the ability to give you turn-by-turn directions just like GPSs do(albeit on a smaller screen)?
