I don't think any of the 65" plasma panels are affected... From what I've read it's limited to the 50 inch and 54 inch models. @UnnDunn My black levels are still pretty good; my TV is suffering more from the significant problems with image retention. Frankly, I remain dubious about the claims from Panasonic about its PQ, even if they did buy Pioneer's secret sauce. I am also very anxious about plasma's operational hum because I do a LOT of PC stuff on my TV's (only old people pay for cable-TV these days, right?).

Anyway, I'll give a reasonably unbiased review in 2-weeks, if/when I receive this danged thing... But be warned, I think 3D is currently targeted to purple kiddy gamers, and I am way, way, way too old to be a... what do you guys say... fan "boi". Do you spell much?

If this danged thing is not the best 2/3D TV on the market in 2-weeks, I'll say so. I would believe that date! The 54" got displayed at my local BB Magnolia last Wednesday. Yes the date was correct, it got delivered at 9:30am on the 26th! Setup was a snap, it took longer to find the overscan settings in the ATI video drivers on my HTPC than the entire rest of the setup. ;)
