She's looking at this device from the vantage point of children and her comments seem to suggest she's been following the device for a while. This would be great for the kiddies.  Would be great if public libraries made ebooks available for these.  You go in, download a book, read it for a few weeks and it vanish when your lease expires. Being able to run more than one program at a time? Widespread compatibility of a Windows platform?  How about just the fact that that you get the same usability out of this that you would from a normal sized laptop, but in a rugged, battery efficient, light form factor with a touch screen?<br><br>FYI: Nexus One has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.  I would think that since you own one, you would know this.  This netbook has the same 1.66GHz Atom processor that most netbooks out there run.
