For the sake of practicality, the living room or bedroom TV screen will never go away, whatever form it is in, but the option to pop in and pop on a pair of video eyewear glasses would be great every now and then when you feel like it.

Video eye wear plus some 2 channel 3D audio via headphones will always be the best form of immersion we can get, at least until games literally plug into our senses.

If you all remember Nintendo's literal eye sore, the Virtual Boy?

It was super fun to play, but after a bit of time, your eyes felt like they were bleeding.

If this device doesn't cause eye cancer, then hey, I'm wrong. Otherwise, I'll probably pass on this. I like being able to moderate physical object distance to prevent eye strain.
