The OS was great... it's the hardware that Palm Pre and Pre plus fail so bad! have you ever seen a palm pre in person? Someone next to me on the bus was using one the other day and I couldn't image a better looking piece of hardware, looked shiny and expensive, totally classy and sophisticated.

Trust me, I've used it myself. And no I didn't like the hardware. "Felt" cheap and fragile and plastic-y, no matter how it "looks". I'm not a magpie that any shiny object would grab my attention and urge me to steal it! Are you going by hardware? Why such a huge focus on hardware? If that's your attitude the iPhone was obsolete the day it was released. It's never had cutting-edge hardware.

The user experience of webOS is second to none. The Palm Pre had hardware problems but later revisions addressed the majority of them. The Palm Pre Plus has addressed all of them.

AT&T needs some more phones without cameras. Sure, we're in the whole "SHARE EVERYTHING" era, but some of us are stuck with jobs where we can't have them - period - and SIM swapping isn't an option (so we *need* to add-a-line for a phone without camera).

It's taking them a year to hit 3/4 of the major US carriers and several international carriers (where I'm told it's actually fairing pretty well in Europe). I'm betting that once their 2010 phone is unveiled it'll hit all of them either at the same time or close to it, like a sort of blitzkrieg. Im thinking of going T-mobile, because AT&T's selections Sucks ass!! 85% of thier phones are flip phones with 2" screens. What the hell am I gonna do with that??? I have to agree. I'm due for an upgrade and their phone selection is pretty weak right now. If you don't want the iPhone or a Blackberry, you're options are very limited.
