The Pre on Sprint became available in June 2009 (iPhone 2G was a 2007 era phone). The internals for the original Pre are comparable to an iPhone 3GS. The Pre Plus discussed here has double the memory and storage space of the original Pre making it even more capable. There data plans are the same price($30). It's the other stuff they rip you on. Verizon: $70, 450minutes, no texting, unlimited data. Sprint: $70, 450 minutes to landlines, unlimited to mobiles, unlimited texting, unlimited data, free GPS.<br>However, for those of us who don't talk a lot, and are broke, there is a verizon plan that sprint doesn't have: $55 a month for unlimited data and texting, with no voice minutes. Best you can do with sprint is the $10 SERO discount of the above sprint plan, so that's $60 a month.
