Yes. Google will adress this issue in Android 2.2 (aka.FroYo). All Android phones will get FroYo before the next update is released. This will definitely be a good thing for all those people with older Android phones like the mytouch and Hero. Plus the admins on Sprint denied it already. I hope what ever they do fixes the some of the known issues with the phone. I don't understand though, why that memo says the files are so big though. Those are the file sizes that I had heard the 2.1 updates would be. Again though, that was another rumor.
