Their software?<br><br>grandma/grandpa/soccer moms dont care about that. They are looking at that hideous boxee box and saying "why would i buy it my tivo etc already that"<br><br>Truth of the matter is you can like a company but fact is...They are bound to fail specially when netflix is on damn near every device out there. And who does grandma/grandpa & soccer moms know? Not mess with menus and searching. <br><br>Conventional method. Press tv on, flip to the channel.<br>With boxee there is no TV GUIDE! Remember grandmas are used to TV GUIDE they been using it for over 30-40 years. You have to search for what you want then choose the episode you want to choose. Do we really need our phones to have the ability to watch TV on them?  Frick me!  I am 45 and I have a 52" screen at home and when I am away there is a TV in my hotel.  I don't need to watch TV while in the crapper, otherwise Id put an LCD in there.  Ive got a few DVRs so not to miss anything and I have Apple TV to rent a flick when I want and do not pay a penny when I dont. If someone doesn't want to use the software that is fine, but don't go around bashing it just because it does 'more' stuff. It is called technological advancements. It implies that a piece of technology becomes more powerful. I applaud boxee for what they offer and I love xbmc cause it is so unique.  But xbmc will never be mainstream cause its constantly playing catch up with new hardware and software. And this is coming from someone who has used XBMC/Boxee on Ubuntu for the past 2 years.  Switched the Windows 7 for dual boot so I could use my blu-ray drive, and WMC had impressed me.  I still prefer XBMC for most things, but I almost never use Boxee anymore.
