You can't compare the two. I had the Archos 5 and returned it as even after FW updates it constantly froze and lagged. It's great for video playback and wifi browsing....when it works.
If I were a Sprint customer I would buy the EVO without contract before buying the Archos again. Why doesn't Archos understand?..resistive+android 1.6=fail

to graduate you need atleast, capacitive+android 2.1+
