I had to make Win7 fonts bigger because lowering the resolution made everything blurry. Also, many programs are not designed for such a high resolution and they remain small...ULTRA small!! Whereas if you have a low-res panel, thats it, you're stuck with it. I have used a 15.6" 1366x768 and I find it too low. Its like a throwback to the 90s.

Yeah I bought the 2009 model (tweaked-up significantly) last November. It's a great machine once you get rid of all the crapware. I can't really comment on it as a "laptop" since it's basically just been docked on my desk for the past 6 months (hooked to a 23" 1080p). I think I've cycled the battery like 10 times total (is that bad?). But as a computer that can be portable if need be, it's awesome.

PS. That face recognition nonsense is stupid, and it obviously only works if your laptop is open (i.e. not docked).
