Also, will Froyo provide Android with TRUE HANDS-FREE Bluetooth operation?

As of today, Android phones do not allow the simple ability to voice-dial or voice-command your phone from your headset.

Rather, one must physically dial, or command, directly from your phone.

The Droid doesn't, neither does the HTC EVO, HTC Hero, HTC Incredible, Nexxus One, and others.

Does ANYONE know why this problem exists?

I love Android (Have a Hero and WinMo TP2) but this PHONE issue needs to be addressed.....especially for those of us who live in states where the law requires any operation of a phone while driving, be hands-free.

The magsafe doesn't last long thanks to crappy small internal springs (On my 3rd at £60 a pop) The plastic macbooks crack like crazy, I'm on my 3rd top, which has just cracked again, and the macbook never leaves the house or gets carried around.
I'll be replacing it with a VAIO or an ASUS laptop soon since they come with a 2 year warranty.
I don't hate Apple and still love my iMac but I have found support to be poor. I live in Edinburgh the capital of Scotland and we don't have an Apple store.
I'm sick of arguing with them on the phone then driving 20 miles to leave it to a 3rd party service center only to collect it a week later, even HP who I also refuse to go back to could do repairs in 3 working days by courier.

as a pre user i'm really happy since my pre will
improve, and I might one day be an android
user. I still like webos way to much, but unless
palm (and soon hp) steps it up it's going to be falling behind.

android is becoming a bigger, and bigger threat to apple, so iphone users should be happy cause then apple will be more competetive. Price, and feature wise.
