Hulu is more of a media-server of proprietary content, while Google TV is more of an aggregator (not a word apparently) of available content (and of non-video, again Hulus claim to fame).  <br><br>Guaranteed Google TV is much more complete than Hulu, even if it rests on the backs of Hulu, abc.com, the internet and anywhere else you can find the information/video you want.  <br><br>A much better question was asked by Nilay "How is this better than WebTV?" Which I'd say, first and foremost timing.  Second, branding. I'm not sure how amazing this Google TV will be either.  It's a little to early for me to make a decision.  Personally, I think MS is probably in the best position right now to offer a more enriched TV experience with Media Center and the Xbox.  But seeing Google throwing their hat into the ring is an interesting development.  This will force Apple to step up their game as well as MS. Just because Apple can make expensive things you can mindlessly buy does not make them innovative or at least more innovative than Google. Google is always pushing out new experiments and ideas. Apple makes the same thing over and over again. <br>How much has the iphone os changed even with 4.0? <br>How much has android changed? <br>Google adds much much more to its software and it gives its users what they want. <br>Apple gives you small updates and makes them seem huge.
