I don't really see this as a negative. For those who already have an iPhone will surely be getting the upgrade to the soon-to-be-announced iPhone, or at least I would think. And those that may(or may not) have so much cash, a 3GS would be a good alternative since they'll be able to update the software to 4.0. It depends. I have a 3GS so I'm not eligible for a fully subsidized price on a new iPhone yet. I'd have to pay the full $599 or whatever. I'm pretty sure most people who say 4g iPhone are referring to the 4th Generation iPhone which indeed it is, not a 4G network.

oh yes and I'm on 3gs and will be buying the next iPhone HD but when I'm into a year of my contract with whack arse AT&T in December I will be going back home to my sprint. Talk about a shytty azz network I never had this many issues with sprint in my life.
