The touchscreen responsiveness is vastly improved along with the efficiency of the operating system. The screen works great and is quite sensitive,  if you're not overlapping the edge with your finger while holding it you won't have any trouble.<br><br>That trackball is often quite useful too.   Considering I owned an iPhone 3gs before getting my N1 I actually know what I'm talking about here. Sense was great when android was immature and needed that extra gui oomph to get it rolling..but now with 2.1 and 2.2 coming, it's really not needed anymore.  Plus the fact that simply because it has sense, updates will take _alot_ longer -- it's just not worth it. I wish they'd push updates immediately and let their users reinstall sense after the fact if they wanted.  Of course, there's still the carrier delay on updates to worry about after that. As long as At&t would rather give me a cheap phone and expensive monthly bills (and verizon won't activate a sprint phone vice versa) it just doesn't make sense.<br><br>You buy the N1, sign up for an at&t plan, and you don't get a discounted plan even though they didn't fork over the subsidies. You can't keep the phone and pop in a sim for someone else.
